How do we use it?
Quite simply, by rubbing the sachet of nigella seeds against the palm of the hand for about a minute... Then, close one nostril and then inhale with the other nostril. This action will clear the sinuses.
Definition :
These are flowering plants, from the Ranunculaceae family. There are different species of Nigella which do not have the same properties. There is :
- Nigella Sativa (black cumin), it is the most used as a spice and with therapeutic virtues.
- Nigella Damascena (Nigella de Damascus), blue flower, is not recommended since it is toxic when consumed.
- Nigella Arvensis (Nigella of the fields or bastard), wild plant, common in Europe, used as a substitute for pepper.
